You are more important than what you think!
This article is not about me, this article is not mine, it is yours. It tells you something about you that you probably do not know. I am here to tell you this small things about yourself and I am going to show you that you are better than what you expect to be.
Like everyone you have some moments of confusion and to contrast some times you are happy. Normally nothing is wrong with that, it is normal to have a different mood during your day. The true issue is not here. The issue is that often we only remember bad moments and we do not take time to appreciate some basic things.
Come back to the moment you were happy. Now do you remember the last time somebody did something for you that made you happy? It could be small things like receiving a small present, someone telling you goodnight, somebody having a smile, seeing your dog welcoming you after work or just a person who holds the door for you. All of these small things made you happy and made you feel better. The wrong thing is that we only see the negativity.
A lot of people can only remember the bad things. What I would like to tell you is to remember these people who made you happy. But they were not only other people. Have you ever thought that you can give be this person. Sometimes you give presents to other people. When was the last time you said goodnight or put a smile on somebody else’s face only by act of smiling? Your dog is happy to see you again and you help someone with this door that you held the last time. What I want to tell you with this article is that by doing these actions you made the people next to you happy without knowing it.
So the important thing is to always remember that you are important for some people and some people need you for being happy and then they give it to other people.

Lost in Paradise
On December 30th, Sophie had just finished her first semester, a week earlier. She was spending a few days with her parents in their chalet near the snowy mountains. For her parents, it was a winter paradise, but for Sophie, it was the opposite: she felt lost in her thoughts.
Nothing to do, nothing to look forward to, she was simply wandering, trying to find meaning in these empty days. The next morning, around 6 AM, Sophie suddenly heard a noise against the glass of her window. She opened the window and saw a letter tied to a rock with a “for Sophie” written on it. Could this be a miracle ?
She opened the letter and found an invitation to a New Year’s party. But where had it come from? And more importantly, from Who ? There was no signature, just a special address “21. Beyond the dreams, Far far away”.
Sophie was «feeling Whitney” just like her favorite song of post Malone. Was that a joke or a mistake? Nevermind, she decided to take it as an opportunity to escape the daily routine. An hour later, she was ready, dressed for this adventure , but one question lingered: “Hum how do I find this place ?”
Despaired in her doubts, Sophie stepped outside, even though the darkness and cold made her hesitate. Suddenly, she heard a distant voice whispering : “This way.” Intrigued, she followed the voice. Again, the mysterious voice whispered “This way.” Again and again and again.
All day long, she followed the voice, which seemed to guide her. Finally, at 11:58 PM, she arrived, exhausted, in front of a cave at the top of the mountains. Sophie hesitated to enter, but it was so cold outside that she had no choice.
When Sophie stepped inside the cave, she discovered a magical place with a lot of glowing crystals and a warm fire. In the center of the room stood an old man with a kind smile.
“Welcome, Sophie,” he said. “You’ve followed the voice of curiosity, and that is the first step to finding meaning and sense in this curious world.”
Once again confused, Sophie asked, “Where, What…Why am I here ??”
The man said : « This place isn’t just for celebration—it’s like a museum. Life’s meaning isn’t found in waiting, but in daring to take the first step ».
As midnight was approaching, the cave filled with music, Sophie’s favorite song « space oddity – by David Bowie » and just like the song « 10, 9… »Sophie felt a warmth that she hadn’t ever felt. « 3..2..1 Happy New year !»
When she left the cave, the snowy mountains didn’t seem empty anymore. Sophie realized that life’s beauty comes not from waiting for miracles, but from creating them through courage and curiosity.

A Very Great Trip!
I am a student living in a small town in Switzerland. I live with my whole family here. And even if they are really supportive in every way and have lots of qualities, there is one thing that I don’t agree with. They hate travelling! They always find the worst excuses not to travel like it’s too dangerous or too expensive, or even that it’s too polluting (which by the way I kind of agree with, depending on how and where we go) but that doesn’t justify the fact of not wanting to travel! So to overcome this situation, I had decided at the beginning of last year that I would travel by myself.
So January of last year I had my birthday at the end of the month. I was finally 18 and able to travel by myself. After a long discussion with my parents, they had finally given me permission to travel alone. I had packed my whole suitcase and bought plane ticket for the next day! I went to the destination that I had always dreamed of… Bora-Bora in French Polynesia !
So after far too many hours of flight, which went by so quickly because I was too excited at the idea of traveling, I had finally arrived at my
destination! And there I was, submerged by the incredible
landscape that Bora-Bora offers.. It was just like a dream!
But to my great surprise when I got home, I found my parents packing their suitcase! I didn’t understand and asked them what they were doing. They replied that all the photos I had sent them had given them an incredible desire to travel, and that now they would like to change and spend more time traveling with me!
Your convictions can sometimes be a brake to enjoy life, my parents are the perfect example. By stepping out of their comfort zone, they can now enjoy a new activity!

Vibrating reflection : A new year’s Rave vision
During the winter holidays, I went to a rave party near Montpellier to celebrate the New Year. The first challenge was finding a crew to join me at the BHD (the name of the sound system, often used to refer to a specific party). I needed other people for several reasons: I no longer had my driver’s license in France, I wanted to reduce my carbon footprint, and I needed to share travel costs.
Moreover, I wanted to experience these beautiful moments with friends. Once we arrived at the party, after an eight-hour car ride, all we wanted was to set up the tent and go to sleep. After an icy first night, slightly warmed by the ocean of vibrations that were spreading throughout the party, we had breakfast before heading to the front of the sound wall to dance like nobody was watching.
Rave sound systems often exceed standard volume limits, so you should bring earplugs if you’re interested in standing close to the massive speakers. The incredibly high noise levels will make your entire body shake with the deep frequencies, but it’s essential to protect your hearing. There, I felt completely at home. The crowd and my movements kept my body warm, while the music and my girlfriend’s company pushed away any negative thoughts. This environment allowed me to reflect on subjects that often had crossed my mind but for which I had never taken the time to dive deeper.
Instead of overthinking or delving too deeply into myself, I tried to stay in a flow state, which gave me an entirely new perspective on my reflection. My thoughts felt light yet precise and relevant, and my mood was remarkably stable and calm—unlike anything I’d experienced at a rave before. This state, this New Year, and this past year taught me two essential lessons : Firstly, time moves slowly. I should be kinder and more patient with myself as I work on building happy memories.
Secondly, trust my intuition. I don’t need to over-plan every aspect of my life, feelings, or thoughts. What needs attention will arise naturally, within or around me, at the right time.

A New Life Abroad
Here I am, arriving to the country I have always dreamed of: Japan. It’s not my first time there but this time has a different taste. Indeed, at the end of last year, I left everything I had ever known. I left my job, said goodbye to my colleagues, family and friends and right before the New Year I boarded a flight to the beautiful land of the rising sun.
This country has always inspired me, and I can’t wait to experience more of it for the upcoming year. My decision to leave Switzerland has been very easy I have to admit. When I was a child, my dreams were filled with sceneries of the traditional red temples, decorated with sophisticated ornaments, the beautiful Mount Fuji, always snow-covered, cherry blossom trees with pink petals falling on the ground and everything we can see in anime. It obviously led me to a strong attraction towards this part of the world. Then, I went there several times to visit, to try the delicious local food, full of sushi, ramen, noodles and to learn more about the culture. That’s when I started to wonder if I should come to study the language and live there at least for a year. Now it’s finally the beginning of this new chapter. I might be a bit scared, because while I’m picking up my luggage, I can’t stop thinking: What if I don’t make friends and feel lonely? What would happen if I got sick and can’t explain myself correctly to the doctor? What could happen if I have a problem in general?
For the moment, I should stop worrying: everything will be fine. And first, I have to get my priorities straight and go to my new modern flat in the centre of Tokyo! Only then I will be able to calm myself, even if this city is busy all the time, and totally realize what’s happening. For a year starting from now, I will be fully immersed in the Japanese culture. Everything is between my hands to succeed, and I think I’m ready for this new chapter.

The End of War
Who would have thought that this new year was going to be the end of all wars? From the beginning of humanity war was the only solution for peace. In 2024 many lands were in war, it had to stop.
The engineer Markus, the most clever in artificial intelligence, had a good idea. He wanted to create a Software with an algorithm to clear all the problems of people. He worked hard every day to finish the project in 2025. But one day he was ill, Markus was working and suddenly he fell down. The man woke up in the hospital bed, he was confused. The doctor said to him he shouldn’t work in the next years.
Markus remembered, he had forgotten his computer in his house. He wanted to get it, but he should wait for the night and take a cap so the doctors don’t recognize him. Markus was very sick and he broke the rules to save the world. On the road, he lost his mind, and he died. The doctor tried to save him but didn’t succeed. When the police saw the computer in Markus hands they discovered why Markus had left the hospital. It was a good reason.

Girly Designer, the most innovative of the Year
Jessica has always been afraid to fail in her job, but the company where she worked closed, and she lost her job as a marketing manager. It was a big shock for her because she lived alone, and she had no other hobby than her job in life.
It was almost New Year’s Eve, and she wanted to change her life and one night she dreamt that she was setting up her own interior design business. Since she was little, she had loved decorating her room and for her, this dream, was a sign that she had to set up her own company.
The next day she went to the bank, and she asked for a credit to make her dream come true. she bought a large space to welcome her customers, and she decorated it only with pink decorations.
At first, she had no customers, because people thought her concept was too girly and not modern and she was very sad because she was very excited about this project. One day when she went to the office, Jessica met an old friend from school and told her all about her interior design project, this friend was a great journalist for the city newspaper. It was a new opportunity for her business to make itself known.
One day, her friend talked about her concept during an interview on the new products of the year and the public loved her project.
The day after the article in the newspaper, a lot of people called Jessica’s business to set contracts to design their house.
Indeed, the concept was not too girly or too much, but it was an innovation, and the people were so curious to discover a new concept.
Since that day, Jessica was the most popular designer in the city, and now she has a lot of customers, even celebrities like Rihanna and many others.

A WEEK AWAY
There was a girl at the train station waiting for her scouts leader holding her mother’s hand. She was at the start of a really new experience. She was going to her first scout camp. The girl’s name was Agathe and she was coming to the camp with her brother and her two best friends. Her brother and her friends had never done a scout camp and had never done something like this before. She was afraid about going one week away from home and of course from her mum. But now was the moment to go. Three scouts leaders were coming and in 10 minutes, the train would leave the station. After a scouts handshake with her leaders and a big hug with her mother, Agathe, a tear on her cheek, climbed on the train. Agathe sat next to her brother Justin and her two best friends Léonard and Elina. Justin and Agathe wave goodbye to their mum and now the vacations would begin. While traveling, Agathe felt better and better. She found her footing and was happy because she knew that she would have a very nice week with a lot of friends and very nice scouts leaders.
During the week, Agathe was really amazed and had a lot of fun. But on the fourth day, they had to go for a long walk with other older girls. She wouldn’t be with Justin, Elina and Léonard. She was thinking “I will be lost without them !!!”. But the walk began and Agathe stayed strong. She wasn’t talking with other girls for the moment but along the walk, she became more relaxed.
But night was coming. The older girls couldn’t find the way. Agathe was having strong feet pains, so she decided to put on her flip-flops. The older girls hadn’t seen Agathe put flip-flops on. The other girls found their way to the camp and Agathe had been walking in flip-flops for three hours.
The girls arrived at the camp at midnight. They were exhausted and after a big hug from their scouts leaders, they went to their tent and into the tent where Justin, Léonard and Elina were waiting for her. Agathe was exhausted but they were still talking all night. And the next morning, the four friends went to breakfast wearing flip-flops. And at the next breakfast, the three scouts leaders, too.
